BioI'm a thinker, a teacher and a writer. Back in the 1990s I worked to marry 3D with the World Wide Web and, with Tony Parisi, invented VRML - work that we shared freely with the world. That led to a lot of interesting opportunities to write, lecture and teach - all around the world. I moved to Sydney late in 2003 to take a position at the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS), and I'm having more fun there than I've ever had at a job. Right now I'm working on a book, hyperpeople, which is all about the way file sharing, social networks and programmable perception are redefining human communication.
